The Old Farmhouse, Maulcallee is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Retaining the best of old world charm with modern and up to date facilities, the cottage is idyllically situated in the centre of the beautiful Kerry Blackwater River Valley. It is centrally placed to reach all parts of The Iveragh Peninsular which makes up the majority of the most picturesque and mountainous parts of the County. Set back a short walk from the Kerry Blackwater River, the cottage affords every convenience for either touring or game fishing in Co. Kerry and North West Cork

The Old Farmhouse has been renovated to the highest standards and affords comfortable and modern accommodation. All the facilities comply with the latest regulations and the property is furnished with new furniture and contents throughout.

The large lounge/dining room is a feature of the house and is pleasantly furnished with a very comfortable suite and pine tables, etc. There is a large open fire built into the solid stone wall. The lounge will easily seat eight people.

There are four bedrooms to the house and a cot. The main bedroom has a king-size double bed and has a smaller twin bedded room off. The bathroom is en-suite with a very large corner bath and shower over. There is also a toilet, bidet, basin and the airing cupboard is off this room. The third bedroom has a standard double bed and bathroom on suite with bath and shower over with toilet and basin. The fourth bedroom is a smaller twin. All rooms have adequate cupboards and draw space.

There is also toilet with hand basin on the ground floor.

The kitchen is very modern and has work surface to three sides with cupboards and utilities under. Complete with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge, microwave, hob and double oven.

There is a complete range of stainless steel pots and pans and baking dishes for the gourmet chef to feel at home. In fact everything required for a perfect stay.

Outside there is ample parking for three or four cars and a small barn to the rear of the house. The barn has a rod rack, together with wader and boot hangers for drying your gear.
